Making Friends in Kenya

Kenyans are known to be very friendly, welcoming and easy-going people. Whether travelling in the larger centres, or out in the Masai Mara and rural areas of Kenya, it is easy to strike up a conversation and make friends on your safari.
 

Although English is widely spoken, there are many people in Kenya's rural areas who only speak Swahili and will be very appreciative if you take the effort to learn a few kiSwahili words.
