South African Shopping
South African shopping is a rewarding and exciting experience. Not only is there tremendous variety – from elite malls to roadside stalls – but value for money is high.
In general, use the ubiquitous shopping malls for sundries or clothing you may have forgotten to pack. For original South African souvenirs you’re better off visiting the local flea markets such as Johannesburg’s Bruma Lake, Rosebank Craft Market or Cape Town’s Green Market Square and Greenpoint Market.
