Water

It is recommended that travellers do not drink water from taps, flasks or any other source that is not bottled. Travellers should buy bottled water.

Journeys2Africa Travel Tips:
1. Stick to bottled water, no matter how enticing or harmless the tap water looks!
2. While embarking on your safari be sure to pack comfortable and light weight clothes with an effective sun hat for protection against the strong African sun rays.
3. Be aware that Tanzanians find scruffiness and scant clothing offensive.
4. Avoid walking in the streets with a lot of money and valuables or important documents like passports and visas. Rather lock valuables in the hotel safe and ask for a receipt.
5. Travellers are encouraged to mingle with the locals in a respectful manner noting that there may be cultural differences regarding the guidelines of interaction.
