The Serengeti

The Serengeti, combined with Tanzania's natural wonders of Ngorogoro Crater, Olduvai Gorge and Mount Kilimanjaro are the true elements of a classic Africa safari.

The Serengeti plains span 30 000 km and contain two World Heritage Sites, two Biosphere Reserves and one of the oldest eco-systems in the world. African wildlife roam in abundance, migrating north to the Masai Mara in Kenya (seasonal). The Serengeti/Masai Mara migration is a sight to be treasured, with thousands of zebra, wildebeest and gazelle spurred on by large prides of lion hot on their hooves.
